My Royal Caribbean
& Celebrity Cruises*

*Laura and I have also sailed with Norwegian Cruise Line, Carnival Cruise Line, and MSC Cruises, and we'll be sailing with Virgin Voyages and Seabourn in the coming months. Additionally, we're looking Holland America Line or Princess Cruises for Alaska. In other words, we love Royal Caribbean and Celebrity, but we're not opposed to cheating on them. ;-)

If there's one cruise line I know better than all the rest, it's the Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

In their "Crown & Anchor Society" (loyalty program), I have "Emerald" status, which one achieves after 55 nights onboard a Royal Caribbean ship - I currently have 70. I'll be "Diamond" in January 2022, when I get to 90 (double points offer plus double points for a suite equaling quadruple points - nice!).

I took my first cruise with Royal Caribbean on March 24, 2007, on their Legend Of The Seas (retired) for a 7-Night Western Caribbean cruise, and it was love at first wave!

Since then, I've sailed on the following:

  • 4-Night Bahamas - Sovereign of the Seas - Sep 3, 2007

  • 7-Night Western Caribbean - Oasis of the Seas - Sep 14, 2013

  • 7-Night Eastern Caribbean - Freedom of the Seas - Oct 18, 2015

  • 4-Night Bahamas - Enchantment of the Seas - Feb 8, 2016

  • 7-Night Western Caribbean - Harmony of the Seas - Jan 14, 2017

  • 9-Night Southern Caribbean - Navigator of the Seas - Apr 14, 2017

  • 4-Night Bahamas - Majesty of the Seas - Oct 23, 2017

  • 4-Night Bahamas - Majesty of the Seas - Dec 4, 2017

  • 4-Night Western Caribbean - NCL Jade - Jan 22, 2018

  • 3-Night Bahamas - Enchantment of the Seas - Feb 2, 2018

  • 4-Night Western Caribbean - Carnival Victory - Jan 28, 2019

  • 7-Night Western Caribbean & Perfect Day - Harmony of the Seas - Dec 8, 2019

  • 3-Night Bahamas & Perfect Day - Mariner of the Seas - Jan 31, 2020

  • 7-Night Eastern Caribbean - Celebrity Edge - Jul 17, 2021

  • 4-Night Caribbean & Bahamas - MSC Meraviglia - Aug 30, 2021

The next cruises I have booked are:

  • 5-Night Dominican Daze - Virgin Voyages Scarlet Lady - Oct 15, 2021

  • 5-Night Western Caribbean & Perfect Day - Mariner of the Seas - Jan 06, 2022

  • 14-Night Central America & Panama Canal Pathfinder - Seabourn Ovation - Mar 13, 2022

  • 9-Night Italy, Greece, & France - Jewel of the Seas - Sep 28, 2022

It's safe to say that I will continue my climb in Royal Caribbean's Crown & Anchor Society as long as they keep delivering the same cruise experience I have come to think of as "coming home."
