Extraordinarily Fair, Reasonable,
​& Transparent Fee Structure

If a company is going to call itself "extraordinary," then everything that company does should be extraordinary - including its fee structure. That means it must be fair, reasonable, and transparent.

• Fair comes from not having a conflict of interest. I work hard to be the best travel planner around, not the best salesman or supplier agent. It's your interests that concern me. Making your adventure as extraordinary as possible is my only goal. After all, I don't work for a hotel or a cruise line or a tour operator - I work for YOU!
• Reasonable comes from charging the right amount and not a penny more. I act as a liaison between you and the supplier. I don't buy in bulk or at reduced rates and then mark it up for you. In fact, I don't even touch your money. You'll see that your card statement says the supplier's name, not mine (aside from the initial travel planning fee, of course). That way, you know that what we agreed upon you paying is exactly what you're paying.
• Transparent comes from not hiding or burying the fee into a package.​ I charge a nonrefundable travel planning fee. Why? Because I'm good at what I do! Additionally, I don't slink around looking for ways to make more money. Very often, I opt for making less money when it's in my client's best interest. I look at the bigger, longer-term picture of a lifetime of travel memories that I get to help create. I won't risk missing out on that for a few bucks. Just remember, you usually get what you pay for. If something's free, I'd personally question its value. Things of value have a price.

I am your advocate. I work on your behalf. Let's take one quick example of what that might look like...

Let's say there's Hotel X in Munich that would be perfect for you and Hotel Y that pays him a higher commission. Every time, I would choose the hotel that would be perfect for you. Every time!

As I said on this page: "I believe in honesty, integrity, and transparency. I believe in being fair with my fees while being overly generous in what I provide for them."

I don't just talk the talk. I walk the walk. As a small business owner, my reputation is everything. Your repeated trust in me to plan all of your travels, as well as the referral of your family, friends, and colleagues, are the lifeblood of my future business. I don't take that lightly. So yes, every time, I would choose the hotel, cruise, flight, tour, etc. that would be perfect for you in spite of any reduction in commission.

Hence, why I charge a fee. My time, skill, effort, experience, and connections are valuable. Besides, I think you'll find that the overall cost of your trip is actually cheaper with my model...including my fee! Now, isn't that extraordinary!?

• The maximum discount is 25% off of your planning fee. ​A substantial savings if you're a larger group traveling for an extended period!

A minimum of four days required. If you plan on traveling for less than four days, your nonrefundable, planning fee will be ​equivalent to the value of four days. 

A Word About Group Tours & Cruises
You may have noticed that the fee for "Group Tours or Cruise Vacations" is exactly half of the fee for "Custom-Built Itineraries." Group tours and cruises take about half as much resources as customized travel plans take. Thus, half off. The other half covers flights, pre- and post- hotel stays, transfers, dining recommendations, excursions, and more.
